Geppetto & Associates

using role-playing games as a vehicle for personal growth

Role-playing games can help develop skills like collaboration, flexibility, and problem-solving. We work with families, schools, and supporting professionals to teach and reinforce targeted Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) skills. The best part is that together we can practice those skills in a fun, safe space whilst driving back the undead hordes or nurturing magical forests back to health.

We have lots of experience working with kids in complicated situations. To us, ASD, FASD, ADHD, LD, etc., are just labels that help inform our approach, but they don’t grind the lens through which we see kids. We believe that all kids can grow and learn to navigate the social universe, and we’d like to be there to help.

For Young Adventurers

The House of Geppetto is migrating from the Human Lands to a far-off place and they need your help. The road will be long and challenging, with many dangers and mysteries along the way. We’re looking for agents with some grit but who can also represent our House’s honorable ideals when the situation calls for it.

The House of Geppetto is proud to announce the dawn of its Extremely Junior Associate Program. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for adventure but don’t have much experience. We will provide all the training you need to be successful in and out of the game. Find out more.

For Educators, Families and Organizations

We offer workshops and coaching on how to embed SEL into role-playing games. Collaborative storytelling is a great way to connect and practice new skills or strategies from the safety of our imaginations.
